About UsMelton Mowbray Market Partnership was awarded the New Licence to operate the Market Site in April 2001 by Melton Mowbray Borough Council. The Partnership formerly operated the Livestock Auctions within the Cattle Market since it was formed in the 1960's when the Melton Mowbray Borough Council initially modernised the Market Site, with the amalgamation of the then Auctioneering firms Melton Farmers and Shouler & Son to form Melton Livestock Auctions.
